Nearly four years after his uncle, diver Kazim Ali Jr. lost his life trapped inside the Paria Berth No 6 after being sucked into the seabed pipeline in February 2022, 24-year-old Eoin Kazim Peters, killed in an early morning car crash late last year, has been laid to rest.
Peters, 24, died in a vehicular accident while driving along the south-bound lane of the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway in Gasparillo on December 28. That morning Peters’ vehicle, a white Hyundai H100 truck, overturned off the shoulder of the highway, in the bushes, pinning him beneath it before he was found by police officers.
Firefighters and police used the jaws of life to remove Peters, who was identified only by his drivers license and pronounced him dead at the scene.
