A St Catherine woman who allegedly turned boisterous when police confronted her over illegal parking has been slapped with a total of $37,000 in fines and 100 hours of community service.
The accused, Gayan Black, found herself before the court after what started as a routine police intervention reportedly escalated into a series of charges.
Black was charged with disorderly conduct, abusive and calumnious language, threatening behaviour, no insurance, and failure to produce her driver's licence.
