TTPrS Intercepts Contraband Thrown Over Port Of Spain Prison Wall

The Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service (TTPrS) continues to intercept attempts by individuals to circumvent established prison security measures and introduce prohibited articles into the prisons.
At approximately 8:10 a.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2026, acting on information received that a package had been thrown over the perimeter wall of the Port of Spain Prison, Prison Officers conducted a search of the vicinity of the south-western side of the institution.
During the search, Officers discovered a black plastic bag containing a white gallon bottle. An examination of the bottle revealed the following prohibited articles:
