Former energy minister Stuart Young has called on the Government to be transparent on the terms of the provisional Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) licence for negotiations on the development of the Dragon gas project.
He commented on the announcement by the Attorney General that the GovernÂment had received an OFAC licence from the US Treasury Department which would expire in April 2026.
Young yesterday called on the Government to inform the population what were the terms and conditions of this âsix-month licenceâ and to not use âconfidentialityâ as a shield against transparency.
