United National Congress (UNC) deputy political leader David Lee has called on Prime Minister Stuart Young to disclose how much money was paid for the failed Dragon gas deal, including the amount in a confidential signing bonus.
On Tuesday, Young disclosed that Trinidad and Tobago had had its special Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) licences revoked by the United States government—a development Lee said the Opposition has been warning about for years.
He was speaking at a news conference at the UNC’s headquarters in Chaguanas yesterday, which was also attended by UNC shadow finance minister and candidate for Fyzabad in the general election Davendranath Tancoo.
