A 37-year-old man is being treated for a traumatic brain injury after a pellet gun he was using to shoot crabs allegedly discharged accidentally in Mayaro.
Police said the incident occurred at about 9.30 p.m. on Monday in an area between the Mitan River Bridge and the river mouth.
The man was reportedly in the company of two friends and was using a pellet gun to shoot crabs.
