Police are investigating a shooting incident in Penal that left a 25-year-old man in critical condition.

According to reports, around 4:15 a.m. yesteday, officers responded to a report of xplosions near Farooks Auto Supplies Ltd, SS Erin Road, Penal.

They found several spent 9mm shells on the roadway and were told that a man had been shot and taken to the Siparia Health Facility.
