A 30-year-old labourer from Plymouth was shot and injured early Tuesday morning while clearing land near the Black Rock Playing Field, Tobago.
Police said the victim, of Arnos Vale Road, Plymouth, was using a brush cutter around 6:15 a.m. when a man wearing a black mask approached and pointed what appeared to be a firearm at him.
The victim heard an explosion and immediately felt a burning sensation to the right side of his head. He realised he was bleeding and ran into nearby bushes to take cover.
