A Penal man suffered second- and third-degree burns and continues to fight for his life at the hospital following a gas tank explosion at his home on Monday.

Brian Joseph, the father of burn victim Bevaughn Joseph, said he too could have been a burn victim, as he was sitting near where the explosion occurred at their home on Sunrees Road.

Joseph indicated his intention to explore his legal options in the aftermath of the ­ordeal.
