CAMILLE HITS BACK AT KAMLA

Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has accused the People’s National Movement (PNM) of neglecting its own supporters and fostering what she described as a “swine culture”, declaring that her Government will continue to defund that culture to allow the working and middle classes to prosper.

She was responding to questions from the Express about a press release from Opposition MP Camille Robinson-Regis, the MP for Trincity/Maloney, who condemned what she described as the Prime Minister’s insulting and threatening remarks towards PNM supporters.
