A fourteen-year-old boy was shot and killed in Belmont earlier today.

Police said that around 10.25 a.m. Zion Roberts, 14 and another man, a few years older than him were standing at Serraneau Road off St Francois Valley Road, Belmont when a car of unknown make and model stopped near them.

A man armed with an automatic rifle, opened fire striking both Roberts and the man.
