A MAN was shot and killed on Sunday morning during an incident along the Eastern Main Road in Sangre Grande.

Police have identified the deceased as Shaquille Layne Samuel.

According to reports, just before 2 a.m., officers attached to the Eastern Division Task Force received information about a shooting in the vicinity of Cypress Sports Bar. When officers arrived, they found Samuel lying on the side of the roadway with what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds.
