Police are investigating the murder of a 51-year-old man who was gunned down at his home in Sangre Grande early Saturday morning.

The victim has been identified as James Paul, of Kessonarine Trace, Foster Road.

Around 4:15 a.m., relatives reported hearing several loud explosions outside their home and contacted police. When officers arrived, they found Paul lying on a mattress in the living room, clad in a red jersey and grey pants, with multiple gunshot wounds.
