Three men were injured in a shooting incident at Chatham Junction yesterday evening, leaving one in critical condition.
Around 7:50 p.m., the victims were socialising under a concrete foundation when gunfire erupted. One man, 42, was shot in the right side of the abdomen, lower back, and buttocks and is currently in the resuscitation area at Point Fortin Hospital, being prepared for emergency surgery.
A second man, 41, sustained a gunshot entry wound to his left hand and is undergoing X-rays, while a third man, 35, suffered a wound to his left foot and is in stable condition. All three were transported to the hospital in a white Nissan Tiida.
