Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Royal Castle restaurant in Brentwood, Chaguanas, on Wednesday night, in which the branch supervisor was held up and robbed at gunpoint.
Reports state that around 10:40 p.m. the supervisor was in her office when two men entered. One of the assailants, armed with a firearm, announced a robbery while the other ransacked the office.
The suspects escaped with a handbag containing identification and bank cards, $375 in cash, a Samsung cellphone, and $2,457 in petty cash before fleeing in a white Nissan Tiida.
