Cop falls asleep, crashes

A police constable was injured after he fell asleep behind the wheel and crashed his vehicle early yesterday.
According to a police report, the crash occurred around 3 a.m. when the officer was driving a silver Nissan AD wagon on Penal Rock Road headed to Penal.
The occupant in the front passenger seat told investigators that when the vehicle was near a bakery, the officer appeared to doze off, causing him to lose control of the vehicle.
