A police constable is in critical condition after reportedly falling from a height at the Sangre Grande Police Station on Friday afternoon.

Reports indicate that around 4.30 p.m. the officer, who is attached to the station, may have fallen from the eastern side of the station compound onto a marked police vehicle.

He is said to have sustained severe head and facial injuries in the incident.
