Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar says youth development will remain a central focus in her Government’s first national budget.
She was speaking yesterday at TSTT/bmobile’s Future Leaders engagement function at the Diplomatic Centre, St Ann’s, where 600 interns were in attendance. They will benefit from a three-week internship with TSTT.
In delivering the feature address, the Prime Minister outlined some of what can be expected in the upcoming budget, which is expected to be presented in September/October after Parliament reopens from its recess in September.
