The U.S. Navy hospital ship USNS Comfort will visit Trinidad and Tobago from August 5 to 11 as part of the Continuing Promise 2025 mission. The vessel will be moored in Port-of-Spain.
Medical teams from the USNS Comfort will work with the Ministry of Health and local health professionals to provide free medical services from August 7 to 9 at the National Academy for the Performing Arts in Port-of-Spain. Services will include adult and pediatric care, dental services, optometry, physical therapy, and dermatology.
Clinics will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. No pre-registration is required. Patients are advised to bring national identification if possible. Each consultation will address one medical issue per patient. Patients may return for additional consultations.
