The U.S. Navy hos­pi­tal ship USNS Com­fort will vis­it Trinidad and To­ba­go from Au­gust 5 to 11 as part of the Con­tin­u­ing Promise 2025 mis­sion. The ves­sel will be moored in Port-of-Spain.

Med­ical teams from the USNS Com­fort will work with the Min­istry of Health and lo­cal health pro­fes­sion­als to pro­vide free med­ical ser­vices from Au­gust 7 to 9 at the Na­tion­al Acad­e­my for the Per­form­ing Arts in Port-of-Spain. Ser­vices will in­clude adult and pe­di­atric care, den­tal ser­vices, op­tom­e­try, phys­i­cal ther­a­py, and der­ma­tol­ogy.

Clin­ics will op­er­ate from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on a first-come, first-served ba­sis. No pre-reg­is­tra­tion is re­quired. Pa­tients are ad­vised to bring na­tion­al iden­ti­fi­ca­tion if pos­si­ble. Each con­sul­ta­tion will ad­dress one med­ical is­sue per pa­tient. Pa­tients may re­turn for ad­di­tion­al con­sul­ta­tions.
