From January to July this year, the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service (TTFS) was called out 11 times for LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) cylinder problems at homes.
Seven were for fires and four were for leaking gas tanks.
Last Saturday, 47-year-old Debe resident Ria George became the latest victim of an LPG cooking gas tank explosion.
