KINGSTON, Jamaica—National women’s 200m champion Alana Reid and former two-time World Under-20 100m hurdles gold medalist Kerrica Hill have been named on the Jamaican team to compete at the NACAC U18/U23 Athletics Championships at the Una Nueva Historia Sports Complex Stadium in Mexico, scheduled for July 10–12.
Fifty-two athletes were selected for the team from the results of last weekend’s National Junior/Senior Championships at the national stadium.
Reid, who holds the national Under-20 100m record and won the World Under-20 100m gold in Lima, Peru in 2024, is set to contest the 200m while Lavanya Williams and Sabrina Dockery were named for the 100m.
