Breast cancer survivor Marcia Adams has transformed some of life’s most difficult moments into a mission of hope, creating hand-painted coconut shells, denim artwork and handcrafted bags that she believes can inspire others to keep pushing forward.

Through her brand, Beauty Lies Within, Adams uses her creativity as a reminder that strength can emerge from adversity.

Adams said immersing herself in her craft became a source of comfort after her diagnosis, allowing her to focus her energy on creating pieces that could uplift others. She said each item she makes carries a message of encouragement.
