Shai Hope-led West Indies, buoyed by their unassailable 2-0 lead, will be pushing for a dominant 3-0 series whitewash against Bangladesh in the final T20 International (T20I) at Chattogram, Bangladesh, today. For the home side, the third match presents a final chance to salvage pride and find a much-needed victory.
Hope acknowledged that while the series win is a huge boost, their performance in the second T20I—where they collapsed after a strong start and finished with a "concerned" score of 149—was less than ideal.
"Definitely concerned (about 149). When we spoke at the halfway stage, we thought 190 or even 200 was on. But credit to the bowlers, that they gave us that win... We will want to finish 3-0 and go to NZ on a high," said Hope said in his post-match interview.
