As Father’s Day approaches, Tuesday Style Fashion (TSF) turns its attention to the modern gentleman and the wardrobe staples that define effortless sophistication. We tapped leading menswear retailer Christopher Charley to share his expert insights on refining personal style, from impeccably tailored blazers and crisp shirts to elevated off-duty essentials. Whether dressing for a special celebration or upgrading everyday looks, Charley highlights the key pieces every father should have in his wardrobe to project confidence, versatility, and timeless appeal.
TSF: What inspired you to open a men’s clothing store?
CC: My father and my girlfriend inspired me. As a child growing up I used to watch and see how my dad — at the time he was working in corporate — would take pride in his appearance getting ready for work, and I have always admired that about him. It has been a trait that has stuck with me throughout the years. Fast-forward to 2018, when I met my girlfriend who was an active person in the fashion industry, that propelled my timid personality to open what is now Statement Pieces by Chris.
