'Unprecedented' abuse of minors

THE Children's Authority of Trinidad and Tobago says many children in Trinidad and Tobago are suffering abuse at the hands of the very people entrusted with their care.
It described the situation as unprecedented.
In a release yesterday, the Authority called on every citizen to play an active role in protecting vulnerable children and reporting suspected abuse.
