LOVING, dedicated and disciplined were the words most used to describe murdered fire officer Bruce Lezama at his memorial service on January 5, held at the Arima Tennis Club.
But he was more than just an ambulance driver with the TT Fire Service. Relatives and colleagues remembered the 47-year-old as a pillar, not only in his field but his family and the Arima community.
Despite the weight of his gruesome death, dozens gathered to remember Lezama's life of servitude, sharing memories, laughs and words of comfort as the family warmly welcomed friends, colleagues and well-wishers with the same love that Bruce was known for.
