Hundreds of mourners filled the Seventh-day Adventist Church, De Gannes Street, Arima, yesterday to pay their final respects to slain firefighter and emergency medical technician (EMT) Bruce Lezama, 46.
Lezama’s life of service was cut short by what fire officials described as senseless criminal violence.
Family members, friends, colleagues and service personnel from across the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service (TTFS) packed the church, many standing shoulder to shoulder, as tributes were paid to a man remembered for his compassion, professionalism and quiet heroism.
