PM Cites 2024 murder figures, claims decrease under UNC

PRIME Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has cited police data to show that there has been 118 fewer murders under her Government compared to the former People's National Movement (PNM) administration.

The data was sourced from the Police Commissioner's COMPSTAT figures.

The United National Congress (UNC) Government led by Persad-Bissessar was elected to office on April 28, 2025.
