Tobago police seized more than $1.1 million worth of marijuana and arrested three suspects during an early morning operation in Canaan yesterday.
According to police, officers acted on intelligence received and exercised powers under the State of Emergency to raid a house on Young Street, Canaan, between 3 am and 6 am.
During a search of the premises, officers discovered 33.2 kilogrammes of cannabis with an estimated street value of $1,105,800, along with 100 rounds of 9 mm ammunition.
