Two charged over $1.1M Tobago drug haul

Two men appeared before a Tobago Magistrate on Friday charged with trafficking more than $1 million worth of marijuana and possession of ammunition.

Raiz Neptune and Shevonne Lucas of Young Street, Canaan, Tobago, appeared before Master Shabana Shahon charged with trafficking in 33.2 kilogrammes of marijuana and possession of 100 rounds of 9mm ammunition.

The items were allegedly found by the police in a house on August 29 at Young Street, Canaan.
