An off-duty police officer came under fire early Saturday morning when gunmen stormed his bar in Valencia, opening fire on patrons and killing two men.

The officer, fearing for his life and the lives of others, returned fire with his service-issued weapon, forcing the attackers to flee.

The incident occurred around 1:25 a.m, at Bull’s Bar, located on Valencia Old Road. Police reports indicate that three masked men entered the premises through a hole in the perimeter fence and opened fire on a crowd gathered near the outdoor pool table area.
