Two people were hospitalised following a multi-vehicle accident involving an unmarked police vehicle on the Churchill Roosevelt Highway early Friday morning.
Police said that around 1:30 a.m. a police constable attached to the DCP Operations Unit, was driving a Ford Ranger unmarked police vehicle, west along the highway with civilian passenger, a woman.
The officer lost control of the vehicle near the vicinity of Popeye’s, Trincity. The vehicle first collided with a lamp post in the centre of the highway, crossed the median, and struck three other vehicles: a Nissan B-15, a Nissan Note and a Rexton.
