A doubles vendor was robbed at gunpoint and beaten during a late-night robbery at St Helena Junction on Monday night.
The victim, who operates the 3D Doubles stall at the St Helena Junction, reported that around 10.30 p.m. he was conducting sales along the Caroni South Bank Road when he was approached by two men.
One of the men was armed with a firearm and announced a robbery. The gunman then struck the vendor on the head.
