A 65-year-old man was ar­rest­ed yes­ter­day af­ter po­lice re­cov­ered a firearm and a large quan­ti­ty of nar­cotics dur­ing an an­ti-crime op­er­a­tion in the South­ern Di­vi­sion.

At around 4:20 pm on 27th Sep­tem­ber, 2025, Ag. Sgt. Seecha­ran led a team in­clud­ing PC Mar­cus, PC Laloo, PC Adams, PC Khan, PC Ho­sein, and PC Ram­sar­rop to an ad­dress at St. Clair Trace, Marac Vil­lage, Moru­ga, act­ing on in­tel­li­gence.

On en­ter­ing the premis­es, PC Ho­sein re­port­ed­ly ob­served the pen­sion­er hold­ing a shot­gun.
