A search is underway for a La Romaine man and his girlfriend after relatives discovered a trail of what appeared to be blood leading from his home to the shoreline on Saturday, triggering a search that has since turned up spent shells and other signs of suspected foul play.
Missing are Samuel Montano, 44, of #1D Sunset Cove Extension, La Romaine, and Zaheeda Mohammed, 36, of Cottage Street, St. John's Village, San Fernando.
Montano was last seen around 11 a.m. on Friday along with Mohammed, at the La Romaine home of his sister who told police they had come over to use the washroom facilities.
