MARINE and land searches were conducted yesterday for missing man Samuel Montano and his girlfriend Zaheeda Mohammed after a trail of blood was found from his La Romaine home to the shoreline of a nearby beach.

There were several spent shells, including with police markings, and other signs of suspected foul play at the location.

Montano, 44, of Sunset Cove Extension, La Romaine, and Zaheeda Mohammed, 36, of Cottage Street, St John’s Village, San Fernando, were last seen around 11 a.m. on Saturday at the La Romaine home of his sister who told police they had come over to use the washroom facilities.
