A 39-year-old La Brea shop own­er is in a se­ri­ous con­di­tion af­ter be­ing stabbed sev­er­al times by his friend.

He told po­lice that around 8.30 pm on Wednes­day he was at his home, Chin Fung Al­ley, Sobo Vil­lage, where he al­so runs a shop, when he and his friend had an al­ter­ca­tion.
