“THE simplest thing to do would be to take the marijuana and remove it and later destroy it,” Police Commissioner Allister Guevarro said yesterday as he explained why there were no arrests following Thursday’s $171.3 million drug bust in Caroni.
Guevarro was among the slate of speakers yesterday at the launch of the Port of Spain Municipal Police Post on the Brian Lara Promenade, opposite Nicholas Tower.
He shared seating space with Homeland Security Minister Roger Alexander, Port of Spain Mayor Chinua Alleyne and Port of Spain South MP Keith Scotland.
