Heritage Petroleum has clamped a hydrocarbon leak near the Moruga Secondary School that triggered air quality testing and emergency response measures late last month.
The company, in a statement, said the leak, detected on May 23, prompted immediate action by its emergency team to contain and clean the area. It has since restored the site.
During the cleanup, school officials reported a strong odour.
