Heritage Petroleum Company Limited has responded to an oil leak on the compound of the San Fernando East Secondary School in Pleasantville.
In a statement on Thursday night, the company stated that a leak was detected on a trunk pipeline. The area was secured, and emergency response protocols were activated.
Heritage stated that it immediately mobilised equipment to contain and clean up the affected area. Air quality monitoring equipment was also used to ensure readings are within acceptable limits.
