PNM Senator Faris Al-Rawi yesterday apologised to Attorney General John Jeremie, showered praises on him and said he deserved a national award.
Al-Rawi was speaking in the mid-year review in the Senate when he apologised to Jeremie for what he described as “hurtful” statements made after Jeremie had mounted the UNC platform during the last general election campaign.
At the time Al-Rawi said, among other things, that Jeremie is a “blue market crab tied up smugly over a pot of boiling water about to make his way towards a callaloo for a Sunday lunch”.
