Businessman on $1M bail for attempted kidnapping now accused of stabbing man at No. 63 Beach

(Kaieteur News) – A businessman currently on court bail for an alleged attempted kidnapping is now at the centre of another police investigation after he reportedly stabbed a man at No. 63 Beach, Corentyne, Berbice, Region Six, on Sunday night.
Sources close to the investigation identified the suspect as Avishkar Singh, 32, also known as “Sadam”. The injured man was identified as Khemraj Shavmangal, called “Mudman”, a 36-year-old businessman of Grant Crabwood Creek, Corentyne, Berbice.
The stabbing reportedly occurred around 23:30 hrs.
