The Ministry of Public Utilities has reported that 30,709 pipeline leaks were repaired across Trinidad and Tobago between April 2025 and April 2026.
In a social media post, Minister of Public Utilities Barry Padarath said the repairs were carried out by the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) and its frontline teams as part of efforts to improve water service delivery and strengthen infrastructure nationwide.
According to the figures released, the South West district recorded the highest number of repairs with 6,222 leaks fixed, followed by the North West with 5,975 and Central with 5,935.
