Police are trying to identify a man who was killed in a road traffic accident in St Joseph on Sunday.
Police said the fatal crash occurred between 2.00 a.m. and 2.20 a.m.
A Nissan Almera was travelling west along the Eastern Main Road when it struck a pothole near a tyre shop, causing the driver to lose control. The vehicle veered off the roadway and struck a pedestrian walking west along the pavement. The car then came to rest on its hood in a nearby dry river.
