Gary Aboud reveals cancer diagnosis

Businessman and environmental activist Gary Aboud has called on men to take their health seriously, while revealing a prostate cancer diagnosis yesterday.

Aboud serves as general secretary of the environmental advocacy group Fishermen and Friends of the Sea (FFOS) and owns the Mode Alive chain of home decor stores.

In a video posted to his Facebook page, Aboud urged men to get screened regularly, saying that his cancer was detected early as a result of regular check-ups.
