After losing his grandmother to cancer at just seven years old, Calipher Harewood became determined to do what he could to help patients diagnosed with the dreaded disease, and their families.
Even at that young age, Harewood knew he wanted to be become not just an advocate, but an oncologist—a doctor specialising in diagnosing, treating and managing cancer.
So, the 16-year-old St Mary’s College student founded the St Mary’s College Cancer Awareness Club.
