RESIDENTS of Robert Village in Tableland have had to fill tanks placed on their van trays, and containers in their cars, to be able to have water for use at their homes.
The owner of a beauty salon also has had to ask her clients to wash their hair before they arrive at her business place. These are some of the hardships the residents outlined yesterday as they called on officials at the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) to repair leaks in the area, and provide a steady truck-borne water supply to alleviate their frustrations.
They also called for the intervention of Minister of Public Utilities Barry Padarath.
