FIRE Service Association president Keone Guy said lives and property have been lost due to the closure of the Princes Town Fire Station.
Speaking on TV6’s Morning Edition programme yesterday, he said the Princes Town Fire Station has been closed since June 2024 due to structural issues and a rodent infestation.
“We stayed committed to ensure that Princes Town and environs were covered. We wanted to ensure that we could provide that level of protection, but unfortunately, we had to walk away from that station because of our health,” he said.
