Three men were ar­rest­ed in con­nec­tion with two sep­a­rate in­ci­dents of rob­bery, kid­nap­ping and ve­hi­cle theft on Thurs­day.

In San Fer­nan­do, po­lice said a woman was at her home around 11.30 am when a man armed with a cut­lass en­tered and de­mand­ed mon­ey. He al­leged­ly took two cell­phones and forced her in­to her white Toy­ota Aqua.

They went to a bank in Gulf View, where the sus­pect told her to with­draw cash from the ATM. The woman raised an alarm in­side the bank, and the man drove off in her car. Of­fi­cers lat­er in­ter­cept­ed the ve­hi­cle in Vic­to­ria Vil­lage and ar­rest­ed a 32-year-old man of Pleas­antville. The car and stolen items were re­cov­ered.
