Fire One Fire­works will close all its out­lets on In­de­pen­dence Day, align­ing with the Gov­ern­ment’s de­c­la­ra­tion of a Na­tion­al Day of Prayer and Re­flec­tion in place of the tra­di­tion­al pa­rade and fire­works dis­play.

In a state­ment, the com­pa­ny said the de­ci­sion was made “out of re­spect for the ob­ser­vance and in sol­i­dar­i­ty with the peo­ple dur­ing the State of Emer­gency.”

Fire One al­so says it sup­ports the Gov­ern­ment’s move to re­strict In­de­pen­dence Day cel­e­bra­tions to silent fire­works for pri­vate use, a mea­sure aimed at re­duc­ing noise dis­tur­bance for the el­der­ly, pets, and vul­ner­a­ble in­di­vid­u­als.
